Earth-Sized Star Triggers Lots and Lots of Hot Colorful Gas!

“Two NASA Great Observatories — Hubble Space Telescope and Spitzer Space Telescope — teamed up for this spectacular, whoppingly huge photo of the Helix Nebula (NGC 7293). And it’s a beauty! The Earth-sized star (white dot in the center of the image) resides in the constellation Aquarius, a mere 650 light-years from Earth.”
