Authorities aren't saying if they're close to finding suspects in the six church fires they have declared arson — three in the Tyler area and three earlier fires about 40 miles to the southwest in Athens. They happened within three weeks of each other starting Jan. 1. A seventh church fire in east Texas destroyed the sanctuary of Russell Memorial United Methodist Church in Wills Point on Thursday Feb. 4, 2010. The cause of that fire is unknown.
